Perry Laboratory provides an advising and testing service for the horticultural industry including floriculture, container nurseries, turf, ornamental landscapes, viticulture and the home gardener. For the landscape industry, we assess the suitability of soils for growing ornamental plants and provide suggestions and guidelines for soil and site preparation prior to and after planting. Currently we provide sampling service to the entire San Francisco Bay Area, from Santa Rosa.

Restored Outdoor Park and a New Nature Preserve. Located on State Hwy 175 East of Marion beside the Marion State Fish Hatchery. Fall colors in the Park are beautiful. This American Beech with its yellow leaves makes stark contrast with the gray colors of the cypress and tupelos.
